What a lovely piece. And congratulations on creating such wonderful nooks; that's taken some real vision and they've all come off beautifully.

I’m moving into my first home in a few weeks and this has made me super excited to get a creative and reading nook set up in our snug ready for autumn and winter. ☺️

Thank you for this, Molly. It's given me some inspiration for our own home. May I ask where you got your fold away table from, please? I'm looking for something similar. Thank you.

I got it from Dunelm, but that was quite a few years ago so I'm not sure they will still have it!

I believe this also applies to apartment living and being able to discover your cozy corners. It doesn't have to be much, and it helps to build those habits too.

As a fellow tiny-house-dweller I love creating nooks too! The space is already so small that it's important to make the most of it and create some spaces where we can do the things we love. Love your tea and coffee station 😊

Thank you for the wonderful suggestions. Trying to downsize, but it's soooooo hard! And I really didn't want to throw my book marks away willynilly. And now I don't have to!

This was a lovely read, Molly, and I love all of these cosy little nooks - your tiny home looks so snug. I particularly love how much you've repurposed here, too, it's great inspiration.

Yes, I agree that nooks are related with coziness but also safety , almost an 'escape' corner . I love them but also feel the need of having them . I feel more 'free' sitting in 'my corner' not having the feeling someone is looking over my shoulder (even I am alone in the room) . I immediately loved that coffee/tea corner idea and the one shown on the link of 'milk and cookies' really looks so inviting . I admire how you succeed to turn your Tiny (great) home into lovely spaces and giving each a particular goal . Such a lovely and interesting post .

Hello Molly!

I really love the piece of wood used for your desk. I was wondering, since you wrote that you have to dismantle it every time you open the wardrobe, wouldn't be useful to attach a hinge on the right side of the desk so you can lift it up without dismantling it? 🤔

I also love coffee/tea station, I always think of making one too but I can't find the right solution in my kitchen 😅

Oh and I have the exact same basket where I put books Next to my bed 😍

Have a lovely week ☀️

The desk does just slide out so its not too difficult!

A basket - why didn't I think of that??? In the process of turning our new house into a home so this has been a timely read. Thank you.
