What a wonderful adventure you had. I am green with envy. I’ve been very unwell for the past couple of years and can no longer go stomping round graveyards looking for stories. Now I have discovered your posts, I have much to enjoy. Thank you.
My husband and I are in the throws of converting our sprinter van now! We used to live in a converted school bus but want to go smaller. :) And I'm loving your nature writing throughout this piece 🌷
I love every bit of this, Molly! I'm living vicariously through your Highland travels as I live my far less exciting life in California, watching for snow.
Lovely to hear about your travels Molly. I remember you did say in one story that you would like to go to Alnwick one day. I’m sure you would love it. If you do go, make sure you pay a visit to Barter Books. It’s a fascinating place to browse a very wide selection of books…..and there is a good cafe, which is always a bonus!
I think this is one of your best letters yet. Your heart always shines when you talk/write about nature and the connection you share with it. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece and your frog knowledge too! I love learning those little tidbits and facts from you.
What an adventure! One of my favorite places in Scotland. I've been in Fife for the past few months, and have been loving my weekly seasonal walks. No headphones, music, etc. Just observing the seasonal changes around me. So happy to see spring arriving in the woodlands!
Why don't you ever show your partner. There is zero sign that anyone else lives with you, even when you cook it's for 1 with leftovers. Strange no sign of a partner ever.
Molly frequently mentions her partner, if you're paying attention, and anyway, if they've decided he doesn't want to appear that's entirely their choice.
Lovely trip, thanks for sharing it with us.
What an evocative of writing. It really took me along with you, thank you!

Thank you lovely!
Thank you for bringing us along on your journey! I felt like we (my dogs and I) were right there beside you ❤️
Your writing and descriptions are delightful, I felt like I was there! One day, Scotland, one day!
