Love reading Receipt from the Bookshop and Literary Learnings!
Thanks so much for including my little Substack in this round-up. Plenty of bookish content to come; just ploughing my way through the books to do so, heh.
Thank you for your recommendations! 🩷 I also love Receipt from the Bookshop, so funny (and so true), brings back memories from my years working as a bookseller. 📚 😄 Books have always played a huge part in my life. There have been so many and diverse books that have moved me, excited my, made me laugh, made me think, taught me something, opened whole new worlds for me. I'm always curious to discover new writers, topics, books. And it's so great to connect with others via books.
Thank you for the recommendations 😊 I will be looking up each of them ! And thank you for the kind mention 🙏.
After getting back into reading last year, and very inspired by you this year I've had the best reading year of my life and it's been absolutely wonderful 😊📚💛
You're welcome lovely! Can I also say how much I am enjoying your new book! As a fellow fog lover, my partner got this for my birthday earlier this month and I'm obsessed. So beautifully written. I've shared it in a YouTube vlog I'm publishing this weekend, so hopefully reach some more fog enthusiasts!
Ohh, that’s so lovely to hear! A huge thank you for including it in your vlog—do let me know the link when it’s published, and I’ll share it.🙏 I’m so glad you are loving the book. When you finish reading, if you have a moment to pop a short review up on Amazon I’d be so grateful—they make a huge difference! ✨
Really interested to check out all these… I love collating a list of future reads from all sorts of places which is super varied from classics to science fiction. Current read is ‘How high we go in the dark’ by Sequoia Nagamatsu. A superbly unique read!
Thanks for the shout out, Molly! It is so kind of you to mention SoNovelicious. I second so many of the recommendations from others in the comments. The Mindful Librarian and Fiction Matters are two of my favorites.
Thank you so much for including me here! Another favorite of mine is Fiction Matters by Sara Hildreth - she covers literary fiction in a very thoughtful way that definitely teaches me a lot :-)
Another vote for Michelle from Sundaze Book Cafe! I love her writing all round.
I also love Izzy from The Sunday Reads. She covers all sorts of bookish content, not just reviews and recommendations. For example her latest post was about the importance of re-reading books.
Marta from Litulla is another favourite of mine. Similarly to Izzy, she writes posts surrounding the topic of reading as well as book reviews and recs. Her post about book reviews ruining our reading experience is one of my favourites!
