I'm a hottie gal too, not so much for period pain, but for warmth, comfort and security. These days the joys of peri-menopause have me contemplating filling one with cold water. Am i never to be a comfortable temperature LOL

cheers Kate

It’s so nice to meet another water bottle lover. Kindred spirits. Should we start a club?🙃😉

Oh how this post has made realise how much I long for a hot water bottle!

I'm currently pregnant and not allowed one, but I can't wait for the first one post baby! 🤣

Thanks Molly for sharing your story. Yes the hot water bottle is also my best friend especially in the Winter. My husband is so sweet he will fix the hot water bottle for me put it in the bed under the covers so when we go to be bed it's nice and warm for me. I have troubles with cold feet. 💚

This winter I have gone back to hot water bottles & yes, they are so comforting. I have a ting furry pink cat one to cuddle & the usual sized furry one for my feet. My daughter suffers from backache & period cramps too - she has one of those very long ones - only in the height of summer is it not used. So you are not alone out there when it comes to hot water bottle loving!

You had me smiling at the title! With van life, a hot water bottle becomes essential to me! :D

I kinda know where my pains come from. I have read a bit into the subject a while ago and I will get more into it again this year, but it's a lot related to my diet. I don't eat junk food. In my case what I've read so far it's the milk products. Have you heard about that theory?

I can imagine it is essential with van life!

No I haven't actually. I did notice the pain got better after I went vegan, but presumed that I was just growing out of them. There may be something in it though :)
