Oh I adore this!! I believe these fall under the “glimmers” category, as in they are small moments in a day that bring complete joy. They’re everywhere, it’s just about noticing them. Love your list and I most definitely will make the effort to make my own over the coming days. Have a wonderful week Molly :)

This is such a fabulous idea. I loved reading your list and many resonate with me. I think I might try and do the same - I know I will find, like you, it's the simple small joys within an ordinary week that will be on my list too x

Beautiful post Molly! I have noted what brings me bursts of joy and happiness in the past, and it’s almost always the simplest of things. Your post is a good reminder to do this again, and your posts will definitely make my list :)

So true! This has been my experience too. It's the small, everyday, simple things that bring me joy like drinking a good quality coffee, warm socks on a cold day, rainbows, the sheer indulgence of curling up with a good book, hugs from my loved ones, I could go on...

This is lovely, just back from a beautiful holiday at Loch Ness, it was easy to see the everyday joys there when relaxed and waking up to views of the loch. I am going to try this next week as I return to work and definitely need to find the wee joys in each day.

Marion Milner explored this very idea and published a book about it in 1936 - A Life of One's Own. Looks like a new edition has come out this year....https://www.routledge.com/A-Life-of-Ones-Own/Milner/p/book/9781032757551?srsltid=AfmBOoruwUKesEvoOZj0VHNWpqc9HgaX1-jbpZCMj1_WlZIxew-5ffaQ

I love this, Molly! You've inspired me to do the same. I think it will be such a good reminder of all the good in the day to day that we sometimes let pass us by without notice.

Happiness is elusive,I think. If you aim to search for it, you often won’t find it. As you highlight it’s the simple pleasures, the daily delights that create happiness in our lives, un-looked for and unbidden.
