Loved your post on this. I have so many projects on the go, including the starting of six books, that my mind has been constantly full of trying to squeeze them all in. Then by the end of the week I was dissatisfied with myself for not doing more. Until last weekend. I decided to concentrate on one thing until complete. My mind is no longer racing ahead of me and I’ve given myself permission to breathe.

I have been practicing doing nothing for over a year now. If I'm early for an appointment or sitting in a waiting room, I just try to clear my mind and be in the moment. This is made easier by the fact that I'm one of a handful of people left on the planet who doesn't have a cell phone.

I have intentionally made decisions for this year.. I too am slowing down , some due to age and some just because. I tend to set too many goals daily so this year I'll just do what I can. I am making a quilt and so I will get it done when I get it done. I need to take one day at a time. That is my intention this year. Also to read more .

I am all for slowing down. Very similar to you, I tend to not set goals but rather feel into intentions. Their softer edges feel more gentle, especially when a new calendar year shows up. I hope this slowing down will serve you well this year. ❤️

Hello Molly thank you for sharing ideas and tips for a slow life. My husband and I are all for slowly down. We do have a couple of months where we have alot going on. Hopefully by the month of April things will calm down.💚
