Only the second of your writing that I've read Molly Ella.
The photo stole my breathe; my 4th great-grandfather was born at a nearby sawmill in 1792! On a long autumn day in 1996, I was blessed to travel his life's journey to his final resting place in Banff cemetery.
And whilst I love the modern day enjoyment of dreich days, I couldn't help but wonder what life was like for wife who birthed her first born, by the Loch, on December 28 1792?
I am so looking forward to progressing through your writings; living in the Highlands is a dream, holidaying a reality, but reality will become a wee bit more dreamy, because of your sharing.
Such a beautiful feel to this post ✨️
